Currently, the major outbreak of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) has affected us all personally and economically all across the world. Our sincere thoughts are with the affected families and we send our great appreciation to all the scientists working hard to find the treatment for COVID-19 as soon as possible.

We have already taken immediate action to introduce extra measures and practices taking into consideration the health and safety of our team, consultants and clinical colleagues during the early weeks of the pandemic. We have also rescheduled our courses and meetings to help in the process of flattening the curve of the spread of disease. Please check here for more information and rearranged dates

Our management and scientific teams are adhering with the government guidelines and the required precautionary regulations on a daily basis, to adapt our working practices regarding delivery of on-going pre-clinical and clinical studies. We are also in close contact with our collaborating plastic surgeons and dermatologists, and for the moment we are maintaining supply of fresh tissue. Therefore, our team is fully operational and currently working hard to execute all current and scheduled projects. The whole team at Monasterium Laboratory is motivated and supporting the management team in overcoming the current crisis.

However, we cannot predict whether additional restrictive measures will be introduced by our government that reduce our access to fresh tissues and our laboratories. If and when such time will come, we will promptly contact all our clients and partners whose studies will be affected to agree a forward plan.

We would also encourage you to please visit our site to explore our new services and innovative platforms that could be beneficial for you in the coming months and invite you to contact Dr Marta Bertolini (m.bertolini@monasteriumlab.com) to plan and discuss new projects ahead. In this way, you can secure the priority for your experiments so that there will be no further delays for you to receive the results.

If you have any general queries, please do not hesitate to write to us at m.bertolini@monasteriumlab.com (Dr Marta Bertolini, Principal Scientist).

Our sincere thoughts are with you, your team, family and friends and we join you all in the fight to overcome the impacts of the pandemic.
