Technical Assistant to the COO & Lab Manager
Monasterium Laboratory is a renowned dermatological research company specializing in preclinical skin, hair, pigmentation, neuroendocrinology, immunology, and wound healing research in the human system. We are seeking a team-orientated, highly motivated, enthusiastic Technical Assistant to the COO & Lab Manager, full-time (m/f/d) to join our constantly growing team.
Your tasks:
- Lab support and general laboratory organization:
- Responsible for organization and administration of inventory
- Maintenance of overview lists
- Testing new or troubleshooting of current laboratory techniques
- Research in respect of technical information, purchase of new equipment, new collaborators
- Responsible for lab safety measures, overview and operation according to the local regulations and legal requirements
- Responsible for machines supervision and monitoring
Biobank support:
- Collecting, registering, and processing biomaterials (blood samples, tissue samples, etc.)
- Assisting the COO with handling patient consent documents
Requirements:
- Completed training as a Medical / Biological-technical assistant, biology laboratory assistant, bachelor or master degree in a relevant field
- Experience in biological research laboratories and with laboratory techniques
- Background in, e.g. organization health care or life science management an advantage
- Good knowledge of English (Company language: English)
- Basic verbal German communication skills
- Highly organized and detail oriented, strong administrative skills
- Excellent communication and networking skills 
- Independent, result-oriented and pro-active way of working, combined with a strong sense of responsibility
