Preclinical assay for predicting the impact of nutraceuticals and cosmeceutical on human hair shaft quality.

Take a look at our latest new service:  Preclinical assay for predicting the impact of nutraceuticals and cosmeceutical on human hair shaft quality.

In this research, we have partnered up with a major institution in the “dead hair” research: Tri Princeton. We have developed the first preclinical assay that allows the modulation of activities of the “Live Follicle” and simultaneous measurement of parameters involved in “Dead Hair” fiber quality.

This allows us the testing of nutraceuticals and cosmeceuticals to obtain positive response from the live hair follicle which will translate ultimately in improved hair shaft quality. We have also been able to predict the protective effects of nutraceuticals and cosmeceuticals towards peroxide-induce oxidative damage in the hair shafts and live follicles.
