This HUB focuses on introducing validated and new preclinical research human models, including a novel humanized mouse for atopic dermatitis research, and discussing the advantage of using human models for predicting responses and mechanisms of action.

The speaker will provide an overview of human models for alopecia areata and androgenetic alopecia research, such as the organ culture of human healthy and diseased scalp hair follicles, and unique in vivo humanized models.
10.44 am Immunodermatology: Models for Atopic Dermatitis Research - Prof. Kristian Reich, MD PhD (Hamburg, Germany)
In vitro, ex vivo, and in vivo models for atopic dermatitis research will be presented, with emphasis son 3D reconstructed skin models, organ culture of healthy and lesional human skin, and unique humanized mouse models.

The speaker will provide an overview of models for aging and skin rejuvenation research, such as the organ culture of human skin, and a unique in vivo humanized model.
